Lefkada Island

The enchanting Ionian island

Lefkada is the fourth largest island in the Ionian Islands and is just a short distance from the coast of Aetolia-Acarnania (with which it is connected by a floating movable bridge). Along with Evia, it is one of the only islands in Greece that can be reached by road.

Thanks to its great natural beauty, Lefkada has transformed into a highly attractive tourist destination in recent decades. A significant advantage is that it can be reached by car. Crossing the movable bridge will lead you directly to Lefkada Town.

Explore the island

Exploring the rest of the island, you will discover beautiful beaches, as well as wonderful landscapes and natural beauties. During your wanderings, you will also encounter some very unique museums, such as the Ecclesiastical Museum of Faneromeni Monastery, the Folklore Museum of Karyas ‘Maria Koutsochero’, and the Kontomichio Folklore Museum.

All of this, combined with its excellent tourist infrastructure, makes Lefkada an ideal choice for an exceptional holiday.
